The ever-present The Pigeon Detectives are back with their latest tune ‘Lovers Come and Lovers Go’ and it’s an absolute belter!

It all starts with a really trashy sounding guitar tone which initially sounds somewhat offensive on the ears. However, when the rest of the track all kicks in it sort of just blends with everything else in the mix.

The band who’s meteoric rise started in Leeds in 2005 are still making bangers almost 20 years on and it’s easy to see why they’re still captivating their audiences all these years beyond when they first started making music.

‘Lovers Come and Lovers Go’ is anthemic to say the absolute least, it’s just a tune that’s so catchy from the very first listen. I found myself singing back to it when I listened again.

I can really imagine this being a crowd favourite and can’t quite believe this is my first time listening to this great band. Get listening to their music if you haven’t already!
