‘Maybe’ from Stanleys is a nice mellow indie track, driven by pretty, jangly guitar lines and a sound which is reminiscent of times gone by while still staying unique and true to the sound of a band who are crafting their own sound.

One of the most beautiful parts of this track is the glory of the vocalist Tom Concannon, a brilliant vocal performance sits over the top of what feels like a really classic indie track.

‘Maybe’ is the sort of song that really perfectly encapsulates the perfect sound of north-west indie guitar music in the UK right now. It’s somewhat a reminder of what has been before with some brilliant bands while still creating this beautiful new sound that any lover of indie music would fall at the feet of.

After recent success supporting some huge bands such as The Lathums and Lottery Winners on sold out shows in Manchester, the band are quickly building a name for themselves in their local scenes and it’s really no surprise to see them selling out shows.

With tunes like they’re producing on their latest EP ‘Time Waits For No One’, Stanleys are definitely a band who are going to keep building very fast and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them on some of the countries biggest stages and festivals in the coming couple of years.
