Fast Money Music’s latest single, ‘Space Opera’, is the third single from their forthcoming EP, ‘ROGUE’. It’s an exhilarating blend of new wave and post-punk energy that packs a punch.
Co-written with Tony Hoffer and featuring the talents of George Daniel and John Waugh of The 1975, the track offers a unique sci-fi take on a the competitive layers of romance. Unveiled by Steve Lamacq on BBC6 Music, ‘Space Opera’ follows the success from previous single ‘Hot Melt Glue’, gaining support from the likes of Spotify and Apple Music.
The song’s infectious pop chorus and jagged guitars, combine perfectly with Daniel’s blistering drums and Waugh’s wailing saxophone – creating a futuristic yet nostalgic sound. The accompanying Tokyo-inspired music video, echoing the aesthetics of Blade Runner and The Fifth Element, compliment the single’s space-age allure.
All three singles released in the build up to ‘ROGUE‘ have set a high standard and a lot of anticipation for its release later this year with ‘Space Opera’ being a stand out track which captivate both new and existing fans with its innovating and energetic vibe.
